On Saturday, February 28, at 6 p.m. sharp, online voting began as part of the Polish pre-selections for the 70th Eurovision Song Contest. Participants were competing for the opportunity to represent Poland at the event, which will take place in Vienna.
The final of the national selections was scheduled for March 7 at 5:35 p.m. During the program, hosted by Artur Orzech, viewers saw performances by all the finalists. The recordings of the presentations took place on March 1 at the TVP studio, known for producing the game show “Jaka to melodia?” (Name that tune?). Each participant had only one chance to perform their song.
At the start of the final program, SMS lines was activated, allowing viewers to vote for their chosen artist. A maximum of 20 votes could be sent from one phone number. Viewer voting ended on the same day at 11:59 p.m. The winner was announced on March 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. on the morning edition of the program “Pytanie na śniadanie” (Morning show) on TVP2.
On January 14, 2026, the names of eight artists who would compete to represent Poland at Eurovision were announced.
