It contains songs sung in Hebrew, Aramaic and in Ladino and Yiddish. The album is in fact a sound recording of the show Alkimja, which Justyna Steczkowska together with a group of artists (mimes, jugglers and ballet performers) has occasionally staged (e.g. as part of the Dialogue of Four Cultures Festival or Przegl\u0105d Piosenki Aktorskiej). The album achieved the status of a golden record. The originator of this project was Ewa Gil-Ko\u0142akowska, the translations into Polish were done by Roman Ko\u0142akowski, and the musical arrangement was done by Mateusz Pospieszalski. The album was recorded in Justyna Steczkowska&#8217;s studio.
