A contemporary recording of the cult musical 'Metro’. A group of young performers talk about their dreams, and every note sung, every beat danced is the fulfilment of those dreams. There is love, madness and youth. The production took place at Spodek in Katowice.
Somewhere between fiction and reality, street musicians, singers and dancers put on a performance for passengers on the underground platforms. Its creator and entertainer is Jan, for whom the metro is home and the underground a way of life. The performance causes a sensation and the young artists are offered jobs in a commercial theatre. It is a story of dreams and disappointments, of passion and betrayal, of youthful ideals and the power of money and, above all, of romantic love.
