On Thursday, October 27th, the biggest celebration of Polish-French friendship of the year, Gala French Touch, took place. Polish and French stars performed on the stage solo and in duets, incl. Garou, Suzanne, Ingrid, Matt Pokora, Justyna Steczkowska, Feel and Tre Voci. This year, Jean Michel-Jarre was the winner of the Marianne d’Honneur award for his contribution to building friendly Polish-French relations, and the award was presented by Włodek Pawlik.

This year’s French Touch Gala was hosted by Aleksander Sikora, together with Małgorzata Tomaszewska, and the broadcast could be watched by TVP1 and Polonia viewers. The event, which is a combination of a concert, cabaret and fashion show, attracted crowds to the theater, as every year. All this to celebrate Polish-French friendship and to strengthen solidarity and the cultural community of both nations.

This year, Garou appeared on the stage, who, apart from his solo performance, also performed the song Du vent des mots with Justyna Steczkowska and Belle, awarded with thunderous applause, sung with the Tre Voci band. The performance of In-Grid, which together with Piotr Kupicha sang the song Nasza Czas kochanie in Polish, met with great applause from the audience. The leader of the band Feel that night appeared three times on the stage. The audience especially liked the song Dance on rock’n’roll performed in a duet with Storo – a Polish musician and basketball player who has French citizenship. A lot of emotions were caused by the performance of Sara Schwab, who performed a compilation with songs by Dalidy, Edith Piaf, France Gall oraz Vanessy Paradis, Indila, ZAZ and Celine Dion. The viewers had the opportunity to see live performances of Camille Berthault, Suzanne and Matt Pokora. With a special performance by two vocalists from Ukraine: Julia Belea and Urana, the organizers will pay attention to the ongoing fights. The evening was graced by a performance of the Paradis Latin cabaret and a show of the On Aura Tout Vu fashion house collection, in which, apart from professional models, Polish TV stars – Izabella Krzan, Małgorzata Tomaszewska, Ida Nowakowska, Marta Siurnik and Blanka Tichoruk also participated.
