The master of Polish musical theatre, Wojciech Koscielniak, returns to the Syrena Theatre with a new production that skilfully combines the realities of the 1970s and modern means of expression. The inspiration and protagonists of the performance are characters from the cult comic book series about Captain Jan Zbik, an idea by Władysław Krupka. A dizzying pace of action, daring races, a powerful dose of humour, witty retorts and an investigation into an international scandal – all this can be found in the latest production of Teatr Syrena.
„Kapitan Żbik i żółty saturator”, a musical based on the script and directed by Wojciech Kościelniak, with music by Mariusz Obijalski, choreography by Ewelina Adamska-Porczyk, set and costume design by Anna Chadaj was recorded on the stage of Syrena Theatre in 2020.
