2024. No one can save themselves alone…. Concert for the World Day of Peace

On 1 January we celebrate the World Day of Peace, which was established by St Paul VI with his letter of 8 December 1967, addressed to all people of good will, not only Catholics. The Pope proposed that, throughout the world, the beginning of the new calendar year should be commemorated as a Day of Peace: „We would wish that, at the beginning of the calendar reckoning which measures and describes the journey of human life through time, this celebration be repeated every year as a wish and a promise that peace with its just and beneficent balance will reign over the development of the coming history.” The World Day of Peace has a theme each year, which is chosen by the Pope. The Holy Father also addresses a special message on this occasion on topics related to the issue of peace. Director Michał Bandurski.
