The second stop on the ‘Summer with Radio and Polish Television’ tour was Radom. On Saturday, 27 June, at 8 pm, a spectacular show featuring Polish stars kicked off on the beach at the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre by Lake Borki. One of the stars was Stasiek Kukulski.
A host of stars performed at the ‘Summer with Polish Radio and Television’ concert in Radom. Taking to the stage were Natalia Kukulska, Viki Gabor, Varius Manx alongside Kasia Stankiewicz, Halina Mlynkova, Kasia Moś and Ania Karwan. There was no shortage of harder sounds either. KSU, one of the most iconic punk rock bands, and Jary Oddział Zamknięty took to the stage. Rap fans, meanwhile, were treated to a performance by the duo Liber and Doniu. The line-up was rounded off by Stasiek Kukulski, the duo Kuba and Kuba, Izabela Płóciennik and Jan Majewski.
How does Stasiek Kukulski look back on the concert in Radom?
One of the stars of the younger generation was Stasiek Kukulski, who sang Michael Jackson’s “The Way You Make Me Feel”. “He’s one of my greatest musical inspirations. Michael was one of the most outstanding artists in history. I love his dancing, the energy he conveyed at his concerts. He could run around the stage for over two hours, whereas I’m exhausted after just this one number. Perhaps I’m not used to it yet,” he confided to Maciej Walecki.
Wokalista przyznał, że organizacja i rozmach koncertu oraz reakcje publiczności były czymś niezwykłym. – Gdy wszedłem za kulisy i spojrzałem co dzieje się wśród publiczności, to poczułem wielkie WOW. Nie jestem jeszcze do końca przyzwyczajony do występów przed tak ogromną publicznością. To coś wspaniałego. Mam nadzieję, że będzie mi się to przydarzało częściej – podkreślił. Dodał, że ma nadzieję wkrótce prezentować się ze swoim autorskim repertuarem.
