In the atmosphere of a cosy jazz club, accompanied by a live band, Maciej Orłoś talks to prominent figures of Polish culture. The invited guests share memories from their private and professional lives, often reaching back to events from the past that have already faded from memory. Their stories are supplemented with archival materials that allow viewers to travel back in time and feel the atmosphere of years gone by. The programme ‘Daję słowo. Maciej Orłoś’ is full of smiles and reflections, as well as touching moments that linger in the heart.

The host of the programme

Maciej Orłoś is a well-known and popular Polish television presenter. For several decades, he has been associated with Telewizja Polska, where he hosts the popular news programmes ‘Teleexpress’ and ‘Teleexpress Extra’. In addition, Orłoś has hosted many cultural magazines, including ‘Trochę kultury’ (‘A Little Culture’), ‘Pociąg do kultury’ (‘Train to Culture’) and “Cooltura” (‘Coolture’).
