62nd National Polish Song Festival in Opole – “Let’s have a party…”

OPOLE 14.06.2025 LIVE

On the third day of the 62nd KFPP in Opole, a concert entitled “Let’s have a party…” took place. A galaxy of outstanding artists appeared on the iconic stage, taking the audience on a sentimental journey through time.

During the concert, the artists and the host of the party, Michał Sikorski, took the audience and viewers back to their youth. The organizers of this year’s edition of the Opole festival took us on a nostalgic journey to a time when music was listened to on cassettes, vinyl records, and radio players.

The concert began with a joint performance by the artists, who sang Party by the band Oddział Zamknięty. Then Andrzej Rybiński took the stage and performed his hit Nie liczę godzin i dni (I Don’t Count the Hours and Days) in a duet with Ania Wyszkoni. They were followed by Paweł Stasiak (Papa D.) and Filip Lato with the song Nasz Disneyland (Our Disneyland), joined by Olga Szomańska. Together they performed Maxi Singiel. After them, Maciej Miecznikowski and friends, including Sławek Uniatowski, sang the song Ta dziewczyna (This Girl) for the audience. This was followed by the song Czy ten pan i ta pani (Is This Man and This Woman) by Ania Wyszkoni and Andrzej Rybiński.

Izabela Trojanowska and her cult song Wszystko czego dziś chcę (Everything I Want Today) is already a classic in Opole. It was also featured in this year’s edition, as was Maciej Balcar, as well as the song Wszystko mi mówi, że mnie ktoś pokochał (Everything tells me that someone loves me) performed by Ania Rusowicz and Maciej Miecznikowski. They were followed by the Gospel Family choir, who sang Tak mi źle (I feel so bad).

Can a party be considered a success if no songs for cuddling were played? Absolutely not! That is why Andrzej Rybiński, together with Sławek Uniatowski and Mateusz Ziółko, sang Czas relaksu (Time to Relax), slightly toning down the emotions of the audience.

Budka Suflera and Izabela Trojanowska performed another hit – Tyle prawd, ile kłamstw (As Many Truths as Lies). A moment later, Izabela was replaced by Ania Rusowicz to sing another classic with Budka Suflera – Takie tango (Such a Tango) and Bal wszystkich świętych (All Saints’ Ball). Then it was time for Chałupy welcome to, performed jointly by the artists, and Gdzie się podziały tamte prywatki (Where Have Those Private Parties Gone) by Wojciech Gąssowski. Sławek Uniatowski sang Krzysztof Krawczyk’s Za tobą pójdę jak na bal (I’ll Follow You Like to a Ball), and Mateusz Ziółko ended the concert with Budka Suflera’s hit – the nostalgic song Jolka, Jolka pamiętasz (Jolka, Jolka, Do You Remember).

The orchestra was conducted by Zygmunt Kukla. The concert was directed by Marcin Kołaczkowski.
